How to disable icmp or ping on check mk monitored host
Some day i implement check mk monitoring server on my project, and i found server that restricted to replay icmp or ping command, the trouble is the check mk host status become down, so i try to disable the icmp active check on check mk to avoid the it, and it work, the check mk host status become up although the host does not reply the ping, here i share in my blog how to disable icmp or ping on check mk monitored host
first time we need to go to host and service parameter and find active check until you find following figure
Enter the ping (icmp echo request menu) and create new rule to host that you need to ignore the icmp active check
